These two crystals both came from the same place in South Ayrshire. I collected them back in 2024 and they were in the empty rock tumber barrel waiting to be polished up.
This lot is for both crystals.
These Scottish gemstones are absolutely unique. They are a mix of minerals between the two. The flint topped piece has some white chert material in the middle but displays lovely purple hues of chalcedony on the face with an orange patch.
The quartz pocket piece has a chalcedony skin and we didn't realize until we took the photos against the white background but this crystal actually has a purple hue. We would class it as either quartz or very pale amethyst.
These two crystals have gone through the tumbling process and are now polished and ready for the new homes.
