These Scottish druzy quartz crystals can be found throughout Dumfries and Galloway. We find them all around the Dalbeattie area and along the Southern Uplands Way. This druzy blanket of quartz crystals are growing on more quartz crystal. It has a good sparkle but the quartz-on-quartz action is what makes this mineral specimen from Scotland beautiful.
Quartz drusy as a healing crystal? It falls into the same sort of air element whimsy that you get from spirit quartz, which is actually just amethyst so pale that they had to rename it. This 100% natural quartz crystals came from a pile of dirt just off the Southern Uplands way in Dumfries and Galloway at the start of 2023.
