This wee quartz chunk has defined crystals in a sort of spray out from the rock. There are some lovely small points in the cluster. You might call some of the smaller crystals a drusy formation. Either way it is a pretty crystal that exemplifies the region.
This Scottish quartz crystal was found near the Southern Uplands of Scotland, within the misty lowland hills. It came from our last trip in June 2024.
