This wee quartz drusy features small quartz crystals forming a blanket over a lump of iron stained rock. It might even be ironstone. The crystals have a lovely orange colour to them.  You might call some of the smaller crystals a drusy formation. Either way it is a pretty crystal that exemplifies the region.
This Scottish quartz crystal was found near the Southern Uplands of Scotland, within the misty lowland hills. It came from our last trip in June 2024.
