This beautiful larvikite pendant has come to us all the way from Norway. This is not the low grade larvikite chunks which we find on paths near the coast in the UK - this is the real stuff from the town of Larvik itself.
 
This pendant has been masterfully shaped, polished, and set in sterling silver. It was given to us by a crystal lover seeking to rehome some of their collection so that they could make room for more rocks - something we cannot sympathise with even a little... (!)
 
This sterling silver and Norway Larvikite pendant is mainly black with that beautiful tell-tale blue flash from the rock. You can see the blue flash on the back of the pendant too, but the polish really brought it out. We have tried to polish this material and it is difficult to work with. This is a masterpiece.
 
Comes with a note from the previous owner detailing that the purchase price some years ago was £45.00.
 
This is for the pendant only. We don't have a spare necklace at the moment. You will need a chain to put this on. It does come with a little purple voile gift bag.
