This is a gorgeous little rhino carving which I adore to the point that I almost kept it. I kpt it for a month. Then I decided it really does need to go. I have no particular attachment to rhinos nor to moonstone. It is extremely cute though.
 
Moonstone is like labradorite and larvikite, it is in that same igneous rock family. I don't know where this came from nor how it was made. I would guess it is a machine carving and since most moonstone is from Sri Lanka, that would be a good guess for original locaiton. However, it did not come to us from there, it came to us from a collection either bought on eBay or on FB Marketplace. This is what happens when you wait a month to list things... you forget.
 
Anyway this is a lovely lil rhinoceros crystal carving looking for a new home. I'd like to say you would find more like it on our website at www.thestonecircle.co.uk but I would be lying. This is quite unique. It would make a nice crystal for a shrine or alter.
