We love obsidian. Love the stuff. Can't get enough of it.

In the loosest terms, obsidian is what you get when hot magma meets cold water and is forced to cool down at insane speeds. The actual way it forms is much more complex and uses words like "hydrothermal" so we will leave it at that.

These polished pebbles came to us as part of a rock collection which we purchased online, from a person who was having a clear out. Buying our crystals this way keeps things as ethical as we can, and endorses the reduce, reuse, recycle ethos we have here at The Stone Circle.

These obsidian tumblestones have been washed, dried, given a smoke bath in nag champa incense, and are ready for their new home.
