This piece of fabulous jewellery was donated to be rehomed by an extremely generous client.
 
The jet used for these pieces came hand collected by specialists who collect it from Robin Hood's Bat, newar Whitby. The jet is polished beautifully and set into a sterling silver oval pendant. The pendant hangs on a sterling silver chain. It has 925 stamps on the bail and on the bit beside the clamp. It comes in a little gold box and all looks good as new. 
 
There is a small note with this which says it is Whitby jet and silver and that it was bought for £32.00. We will include the note but we will put it in the postal box rather than in the gold gift box. This Whitby jet necklace would make an exquisite gift and we wouldn't want to risk you gifting it to someone who then opened it up to find the price tag!
 
Since this is a second hand/preloved crystal necklace we will adjust the price accordingly. This is a belter of a bargain and such a very sweet piece.
