This piece of amethyst came from a bag of rough rocks which we bought to tumble. Obviously we don't tumble them all but pull out the ones we like best to sell. If you have followed the Stone Circle for any amount of time at all then you will know that our first love is rough rocks. Give us the natural look and we will be happy.
There were two pieces of Amethyst in the NAtional Geographic rock tumbler refill set which we were interested in selling on to crystal collectors unpolished. Some rocks are too pretty to touch. There is a larger one and a smaller one. They have the chevron and lighter colouring of the Brazillian amethyst rather than the depth of fearless purple you get in Uruguayan amethyst.
You could tumble it if you want but we think it would be a waste. One of these amethyst crystals is slightly larger than the other so we will price them differently but likely copy the description for our own ease.
