This crystal tower is not a natural point. It has been cut into this shape. Agate doesn't actually form in points. It tends to be mainly chalcedony with a propensity towards botryoidal (bubbly) formations. The odd point might come from the presence of quartz though. They would not look like these.
Just because the shape is not natural does not mean that the crystal is not. This is a nice example of a flower agate interspersed with quartz crystals. In places it has soft banding and in others it has sparkly quartz patches - not druzy, just sparkly under the light.
I am not sure what flower agate means in terms of crystal healing. I know that these are formed over thousands of years in vugs or seams through old lava beds which cooled so slowly it left bubbles.
RRP: an agate tower of this chunkiness and crystal type starts at £8.50 but can reach £30.
The Stone Circle Pre-loved Price: Let's call it £4.50. That's probably a bit cheap.
