The first piece of these two that I found came from Ayrshire back at the start of the Stone Circle. Around 2020 sometime. It was too odd a shape to polish, so it was set aside. It was then wrapped up in a Christmas box until recently, when I dug them out and put it in the tumbler for four stages. It took a good shine and really brought out that stunning banding. You can see about 8 bands with the naked eye but I keep in mind my glasses are in the next room.

The other Scottish Carnelian/agate took an excellent shine. It is a rich deep wine red on one side and on the other it has that kind of opal ring material. It didn't all buff out in the polish, but you can see the indication of agate patterns in it.
