This is a funky amethyst crystal, or rather a collection of little crystals which are too large to be a druzy. It's a little odd this one, giving off a cheeky energy.

It came from down near Dalbeattie in Dumfries and Galloway, though I'm not sure when. Every so often we find a Scottish crystals stuck in the bottom of a box or fallen down the back of a unit. This one was in the bottom of the amethyst box. Our first trip down there was 2020.

There are some nice looking pronounced crystals on this amethyst specimen, with a patch of yellow limonite.
