This started as one of the red skinned, blue tinged agates from up in Angus. This has been in the polish bucket since July 2021, when we made a birthday trip north.

I love this Scottish mineral. Agates are hit and miss until you cut into them, but this Angus agate from Scotland was already flashing those beautiful Waterlines. A few weeks ago I decided I'd looked at it enough. So it went through 4 grit and two polish cycles in the tumbler.

This agate should go to a collector or another lapidary artist. I'm so tempted to cut it and see if there's more going on inside. It seems to have a red tinged bubble.
