This is a mainly blue tinged moss agate with a little red. It dawns on me as I write this that it could be green instead of blue, I sometimes have trouble with the two. Since chalcedony tends to have a blue tinge but moss agate has that rich green colour, I'm confused...it is the colour it is in the photos.
Asides from my confusion, this mossy chalcedony crystal came in the bunch we bought from a friendly Scottish rockhound up in Angus. We picked them up last year to try and avoid spending on petrol... It's a long drive.
This has been tumbled to a shine and is ready to be rehomed. Do your bit today and adopt a rock.
