This cool calcite crystal point came from down Dumfriesshire way. It was found back in 2021 and was in the clean up bucket that I am nearly at the bottom of, but have nearly been at the bottom of for the last six months. This is a nice crystal, it seems to be a five sided point, so not quartz. There is some interesting patterning on the back of it, as if another mineral was there and has worn away. You can also see that curious little bit of green on the side. Probably a chrysocolla from the surrounding minerals.
