We picked these rough agate pieces in Ayrshire and we immediately adored the colour. These pieces all share that soft pink, weathered agate mineral type. It's an opaque pink and white colour that doesn't appear to be true chalcedony or quartz. It's more like the native calcites often found in Scottish rocks.

These minerals have a gorgeous pink hue to them. There are a couple of banded pieces. They are a little small to sell individually but too pretty to discard. A lapidary artist might be able to do something with these little agates and calcite or chalcedony pebbles. You can learn more about agates on the Stone Circle blog.
