This amethyst crystal is the perfect example of how hematite dusted amethyst and smoky quartz from Scotland looks like. One of my personal favourite minerals, these amethyst crystals are coated in a thick hematite layer which glistens deep red in the light. 
This amethyst crystal cluster was found in Dumfries and Galloway back in 2019. Sometimes you keep a rock for a while before you are willing to let it go. That's how it has been for me with this amethyst specimen. 
The Amethyst and Hematite Combo in Crystal Healing
This is a great combination of amethyst for crystal healing. Although we don't use crystals for healing, we do know that amethyst is associated with those upper chakras. Too much time in the upper chakras and you end up struggling to focus on life. The hematite is a grounding element, bringing you back down to earth. This could be an ideal choice for those seeking balance.
