This is a large piece of Scottish Mountain Quartz with a little mica schist scuff. The mica is only a fine layer. It's a chlorite mica schist material abundant in the Highlands of Scotland. This piece is from the Southern Highlands.
 
This larger piece came from our October 2022  trip. Its bigger than my hand and has some depth of black smokey quartz colour to it. It's a large piece. It's a good sized boulder with both the dark and stormy grey colours. What I like best about this Scottish crystal are the lines you can see inside it.
This is a gorgeous piece of Scottish Highland quartz for sale. It's coming up on the luggage scales as around 900g. It comes with its own moss which might be dead and might just need watering.
