This is a really delicate, pretty piece of individiual quartz crystals in a cool cluster formation. We picked this up with the mineral specimen collection we just bought some of. We don't know where thise from but experience says it is a Chinese specimen. These are delicately mined all over the world. Chinese specimens are well known for clarity and consistency.  
 
This particular piece has several long needles of quartz. The crystals are on two layers inverting and pointing all over the place. It's a neat little piece.
