This lot is for a shapely quartz crystal cluster with an amethyst drusy alongside it. The quartz came from the southeast of Scotland while the amethyst is from the southwest. The amethyst was collected in October 2022 while the quartz crystal was collected last trip, in the beginning of August, 2023.
The quartz drusy had a smoky darkness to it, likely due to other inclusions. The amethyst has a beautiful dusting of hematite on it, giving it that glittering appearance.
