This chalcedony/agate crystal is a deep red mossy pattern. I know that technically Moss agate isn't real agate, don't worry. It doesn't have those banded patterns that you expect to find in agate. However, it does have those mossy patches in dark red spaced throughout an Agatized off whit tinge in it.

This crystal was found in 2021 in an Ayrshire riverbed. I brought it home, cut it on the saw, and put it through four stages of tumbling. It hasn't taken a mirror shine because Moss agate is always harder to bring out. It's a deep red mossy agate crystal that will bolster any crystal collection.
