This Scottish crystal came from an Ayrshire burn, which is a stream to our international customers. We followed it for about a mile after we found out first piece. This slice was part of a larger piece that I believe we finished slicing already.
Found back in 21, this Ayrshire mineral specimen from the UK has been through all tumbling stages, including a nice soap wash to finish it off. The agate has a lovely shine.
This Scottish agate has a pink chalcedony skin and a couple of layers of white banding on the outer edges. The centre is quartz and you may notice some green mossiness on the outer skin.
We have two slices of this, cut and tumbled from the same stone.
