I want to take a bite out of this. 
 
You may know this material as amber calcite or honey calcite. It is your normal calcium carbonate calcite with a nice clarity to it, and an infusion of other natural minerals which make it a lovely yellowish-orangish-honey colour. 
 
A little research just told us that our guess was right, it is iron oxides which colour the honey calcite this way. The source we just read said hematite but in our experience hematite bleeds too red. It would need to be just the right amount of hematite and probably limonite or siderite to make this lovely colour.
 
Anyway this looks like it is real honey. It looks juicy. Honey calcite is used on the third eye chakra to promote feelings of self worth... which is probably why it looks so delicious. Please do not eat the rocks.
 
We bought this as part of an old crystal collection bought from an auction house in January 2026.
