This piece of banded Agate from South Ayrshire is part of a recent slice I took from a bigger section of rock. Unfortunately it broke apart in the tumbler as sometimes happens. This is the biggest part. It has been waiting for listing for an age in the rumble stones tub.

The rock was collected in South Ayrshire around 2021. We don't cut as often as we would like to. It makes a lot of noise. It took an exceptional shine on the chalcedony.
