This is a beautiful moon shaped crystal which has presumably been shaped off a larger block of agate. The Crystal is stunning, with white and cream banding on a background which is both clear and orange in places. It is a very pretty crystal. I would be tempted by it if I saw it on a shelf in a shop. It has that unmistakable flower agate pattern on the other side.
I have no incline where this came from. It was bought on eBay as part of an old crystal collection which we ordered from down south. I am not even sure which country produces this kind of agate as I have not seen it in the agate collector's forums - and I am in many.
This is a nice sized moon, definitely a medium over a small. It maybe weighs 75 grams but my scales are upstairs and I am comfortable. It is a really nice piece. I chose this collection to buy up because I thought the seller had great taste in rocks.
