We bought this agate disc as part of an old crystal collection we won in an online gem auction. I actually thought it was a sphere from the photos. Instead it is a disc only a half centimeter wide. It is very pretty and displays banding, or fortification agate lines. It has a lovely grey hue and tones of blue - but it is flat, no matter how round it may look in the photographs!

This is a preloved crystla that has a little wear on one edge. It's not damage. It looks like it happened when it was first cut and polished. It is a nice piece. We do love an agate, even if it is not Scottish.
