This is a pre-loved agate found at a recent car boot sale in Decmeber 2025. The boot sale had a table with a man selling crosses and other stone jewellery. I did not buy this from him. His agate crosses displayed zero agate patterns. I moved on and bought this from the next stall who was selling her old jewellery. I did buy one of his crosses in tiger's eye. I will list that in a moment.
For now, let's focus on this stunning agate. It displays excellent banding. It has been polished - probably in a rock tumbler - to a fine shine. As well as being gorgeous it has been drilled. A silver fixing is inserted and this is what the bale clips onto. The whole pendant was bought on its own so I added a sterling silver plated 18 inch chain so that it is ready to wear.
