This gorgeous agate crystal came from our Ayrshire batch. It showed up in the beginning of the year but it came from the big agate quality street tub. This tub began in 2021. The agates and chalcedony in it are all from the same area of South Ayrshire.

I tried to hand polish this one first but it was too bumpy and ended up in the rock tumbler.

We call agates whose outer layers peel off like this "Peeler agates". The colours in this are pink, gray, and white, much like the Mexican pink and grey agates... But Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
