OK, so bear with me here. 
 
I was in a crystal shop in Glasgow and I saw that someone had drilled holes in different rocks to use as incense burners. Of course, me being me, I thought "I could do that!"
 
I then went home and brought out the dremel, thinking I already have diamond coated drill bits and some tiger's eye that was flat. Why not give it a go?
 
The dremel has seized up. The attached drill bit won't come off. The attached drillbit is no longer diamond coated as it is old. I am not strong enough to take it off. The tiny wrench that comes with the dremel 3000 will not work. Nothing is taking it off. I go online for advice and the Youtubers say you just gotta apply brute strength. I don't have brute strength. I have half a horsepower.
 
I thought but aha! these drillbits will work with my drill, duh! So I got it out, set it up, and broke three drillbits trying to make the hole in the larger tiger's eye incense stick holder in the pics. It is the prettier piece of rough tiger's eye crystal but it has the messiest hole. The second one had the tidiest hole but by then I had to buy a second set of drillbits, of which I broke a further three. 
 
So these little feckers cost me six diamond coated drillbits, which aren't that expensive but which is very annoying. I had to wave them through some sandalwood to take away the negativity I might have accidentally put out towards them.
 
Here come the less fun bits:
 
- These are literally incense stick holders made by drilling a hole into rock.
- I have to price them to replace my drillbits.
- You should never leave incense burning and unattended.
- These holes are not perfect but the sticks will stay in them at the right angles.
- You may have to shoogle them about a bit to get it right the first time. 
- Which is why I need to reiterate that you cannot leave them with a burning incense stick in them when unattended.
- You should not put these on any surface that is flammable. Hot ashes can fall from the incense and burn stuff.
