This is a preloved Whitby Jet pendant which we have attached an 18 inch sterling silver plated chain to. The pendant is set into sterling silver itself, with a beautifully delicate frill pattern around the outside. The bale is also sterling silver, so the whole thing shouldn't set off any nickle allergies. Although you may wish to replace the chain later... we just didn't want to list it without a chain.
 
This beautiful piece of hand crafted Whitby Jet jewellery was found and polished from near Robin Hood's Bay by a mineral collector down south, who runs an Etsy store. The pieces he now has are exquisite and rightfully pricey. 
 
This piece of natural stone jewellery was dontated to the Stone Circle as part of a bulk lot of crystals, rocks, and mineral specimens which a client was clearing out. She very generously passed these items onto us with detailed notes on where each piece came from and what she bought it for.
