This is a really pretty banded blue tumbled stone with fortification pattern. It would be an onyx if it were black and white. The blue waterlines are consistent with blue lace.

This tumblestone came to us through an old crystal collection which we purchased at the tail end of 2025. It has been washed in hot soapy water and dried with oxygen laced with incense.

Blue lace features accepted agate patterns but it has a delicate feel which earned it the name. It is primarily mined in Namibia but you do find it in other places. The blue in the agate comes from copper, manganese, and other iron oxides. Blue lace agate is traditionally blue and white, but this piece is light blue.
