We have been rock tumbling for a few year snow. When we stock up on grit, we stock up with the intention of not having to repeat it for a while. We overdid it a little with the 220 grit for rock tumblers, so there are three packs of 100 grams sitting on the shelf for those who need rock tumbler grit or are shopping for lapidary supplies.
 
You can see in the photos that these come in see-through bags. They are safe as far as I can tell - no leaks. However, I will wrap these up in brown (or green/red) paper so that they are extra secure during transit. Be careful when you open it so you don't lose any although I don't think they will leak. I might just add tape to keep them closed to be doubly sure. Anyone who uses a rock tumbler knows that grit gets everywhere.
 
At F220, this grit is designed for use in the standard second stage of rock tumbling. First should be your F80 grit, next you can go to 400 and then onto whatever level of shine you require. Unfortunately we don't have any 400 listed but leave it with us.
