This is a black piece of German agate. I'm unsure of the location but probably idar-oberstein. These were picked up a few years ago and we still have some left to tumble.
This piece is fresh from the rock tumbler. It has this dark colour and energy to it, with the lovely banding characteristic of the area. The banding shows on the polish, which we like. It's light grey.
