I have friends up and down the country who have started either collecting locally for me or randomly sending me thank you rocks. Recently two of my friends were in Pitlochry and brought back these three big chunks of quartz from the loch they were staying nearby. They also brought me some lovely mica schist which I will get around to listing.

I don't know much about the Pitlochry area. It is on the exploration bucket list. These were collected May 2026.
