This is a beautiful piece of the onyx striped agate we found in Ayrshire back in 2023. It has fantastic parallel lines in pinks and soft greyish blue. It has a lovely outer skin with the lines peeking through.

Such perfect parallel banding throughout the whole stone is rare. This is part of a larger piece which we absolutely had to cut open to get to those unique lines.

This rock was tumbled through four stages of grit and four of burnishing. It has come out beautifully. I believe there is enough gemmy material there for a nice cab or two with further slicing.
