This beautiful amethyst crystal arrived in our Rock Room in June or July 2026. It was donated by a collector who needed to scale down and who generouuasked us to remove their crystals.

We will donate a portion of this sale to charity. We now have the Charity Jar. Once it's got a reasonable amount in it, we will donate it to a Scottish environmental charity.

I don't have an original location for this quartz. I'd guess Brazil but it's just a guess. These amethyst crystals are huge. There are two massive points and some smaller ones. It is far too big to call it a druzy. This is an amethyst crystal cluster.

It has been washed and dried and is ready to be rehomed.
