This preloved crystal belonged to the gentleman who sold us the collection of crystal lovehearts. We were trying to list them all before Valentine's day but as you can see, we didn't quite make it.

This crystal heart is about an inch across and a cm thick. It features typical for the crystal type black manganese patches which have stained the surrrounding material pink. A metamorphic inosilicate, this material has a lovely soft pink colour to it.

According to crystal healers, rhodonite is a stone of vast compassion, empathy, and understanding. The keyword for this stone is "Rescue" and it relates to the heart chakra, the roots, and even into the mind.
