This is only the second piece of amazonite we have come across, though there is a third waiting in the to be listed pile. We didn't know what it was as you just don't find it in Scotland. Instead, we asked a mineral forum and they answered on the first piece we listed. This one is clearly the same material since it displays that almost-flourite like sheen and green and white colouring.

This piece came in with a box of rough rocks we bought in from a mine we found selling them in Madagascar. We got a mixed box of rough for lapidary but some of them were not the kind of rocks we would polish, such as this piece of amazonite.
