Aventurine

We say it often and we will say it again - amethyst, smoky, rose quartz, citrine... it's all just quartz. Aventurine isn't quite quartz, it is quartzite. This means that it started out as a green tinged sandstone and underwent metamorphosis to become green quartz.

Aventurine comes in other colours. At the moment we only have green aventurine chunks but we will add more as it arrives in the crystal shop... AKA Katriona's spare room.
