This is one of our favourites out of the recent purchase of a box full of hearts we recently made. We were searching for crystal collections to buy from those who no longer want them while one seller on our favourite auction site was selling thier batch of hearts. It was a match made by cupid and one we couldn't resist.
 
Of all the hearts, this one is the most distinctively agate-like. It has waterlevel or waterline fortification banding across the top edge with a cloudy, possibly plume agate pocket underneath it. The heart is about half an inch thick and two inches across at the thickest point. 
 
All of the second hand crystals we buy in The Stone Circle rock shop are washed with hot soapy water. They are then air dried with incense in the rock room, unless it is summer, in which case they might be sun-dried. Everyone loves a sun-dried crystal but this is Scotland and we work with what we have got.
 
We couldn't find the exact likeness of this heart when we searched but we did recently have a plume agate heart of a similar slightly angular shape for sale recently, so we will take the price from it.
