This is a lovely amethyst point. We don't know what the origin country for this amethyst is, but we do know that it has somehow remained undamaged through being packaged and shipped to the owner, owned for a bit, and then packaged and shipped to us. It came in with this sticky blue stuff on the point to protect it. We removed the sticky blue and replaced it with sticky blue of our own, in this case blu tac. 
 
There is a really nice dark purple to this amethyst point. It weighs over 100g and doesn't have the root attached, so you can tell it is a readonable size of point. Again, no country of origin but it has a good deep colour.
