This green tree agate crystal has been carved into an agate. Forgive the title, but these moss agates have so many names. Technically they are a plume agate, often referred to as a tree agate because the dendrites can resemble tree patterns.
 
Whatever you want to call it, this green love heart is a type of agate. It has faint banding and lots of plumes in green with white quartz here and there. It is about two inches tall and the same across at the widest point. 
 
We purchased a batch of love heart crystals which someone was selling online recently. This is one of them. We figured it would be a nice set to buy in time for Valentine's day. Crystals are not an obvious gift but they definitely ought to be.
 
Though we don't have a location a lot of this material comes from Madagascar. A Madagascan mossy agate heart the same size as this sells for around £16 on other sites. Of course, this is a second hand crystal so you get the benefits.
