Once in a while I will find amygdaloidal Basalt with the agate still inside the old lava. Usually they are too big to carry and I leave them alone. However, one in a hundred are too pretty for me to leave behind. This is one of those.
This is not the bubbliest or fullest galaxy stone, but it does have a fantastic example of Missy chalcedony. I believe there is calcite in there too.
This vehicular Basalt came from South Ayrshire and was picked up in a summer 2026 rock hounding trip.
