This is one of our preloved crystals which came from a collection we purchased in one of the online marketplaces which we use to source recycled minerals.

This particular clam shell crystal carving had us stumped. We have never come across Que Sera Stone before and, as such, assumed it was a resin. Katriona tried and failed to set it on fire, thinking that it would give off a plastic smell. It did not. We remained stumped.

Then last week we were scrolling through secondhand crystals and we saw someone selling towers in the exact same material. The towers were wholesale and not our bag, but the stone caught our interest since it was identical to our previously dismissed clamshell.

Que Sera is an igneous stone which includes a smushed up mix of multiple minerals. The blue is blue quartz, rare on its own, but other component crystals and minerals which make up this rock include iron oxides, Lianite, feldspars, Kaolinite and a bunch more. It is basically one big rhyolite, which is how we edescribe igneous rocks which have melted leaving the biggest crystals to float to the surface.

Could we find a price for this clamshell? No. We could not find its like anywhere on the internet. We found a small cauldron made of Que Sera stone - called that because QUE = Quartz with Undulatory Extinction and Sera because Que sera, serra. Whatever will be, will be. Or something. We are not really sure. It's as good a theory as any.

Since this is a mixed mineral with the fire of a volcano trapped inside it, these stones are pretty good at crystal healing. The smushed up rock nature of it makes it a pleasant stone to use on all the chakra ponts. The blue quartz is pretty special too.
