This jasper stone mushroom has been kicking about in the box of items I am supposed to list for a month or more. I like it. It has grown on me. The orange has that kind of golden glow feeling and the swirls of other colours are very pretty. This is not necessarily Picasso jasper, but it definitely has the air of a painting.
This crystal carving was likely done mechanically. There is no knapping to suggest it was hand worked. It was also likely cut from a large block of jasper along with several brothers and sisters. We couldn't put a location on where it came from since we bought it as part of someone's old crystal collection.
We are finally rehoming it. Don't forget that we do sell plenty of scottish jasper too, polished and otherwise, but alas not carved into mushrooms.
This carving is about an inch and a half tall.
