This piece of rock is a very pretty find from down in Dumfries and Galloway. Found circa summer 2025, this piece of rock has two distinct areas of gorgeousness for you to enjoy.
There are calcite crystals in the centre of a druzy. There are two patches of druzy, sparkling quartz crystals. One on the back and one on the front. The one on the 'front' has a patch of calcite crystals in the centre. They are pretty perfectly formed, too.
There are dogtooth calcite style crystals and one or two kind of hexagonal shaped calcite crystal. This Scottish mineral specimen has been cleaned and weighs around 300g. It is a great example of calcite in its natural habitat and would make a lovely mineral specimen for display purposes. It is a little on the large side for crystal healers.
