We bought a batch of rough rocks for tumbling and there was fluorite in it alongside all the quartz based minerals. Obviously with the fluorite being softer on the hardness scale the quartz would wear it away in the tumbler, so until we have enough for a whole batch of fluorite at once, these wee bits can get sold individually.
 
I just listed a lovely green and purple fluorite chunk and also a green fluorite chunk. I almost listed this purple fluorite crystal as a piece of amethyst but decided to do a hardness check just in case. Not only did it fail against known quartz but it also has a line in it which looks kinda green. Suspicious. Pretty certain it is fluorite.
