This calcite crystal cluster has a group of calcite crystals all huddled together, presumably for warmth. It has a lovely shine to it, even though it is not polished. That shine is the light refraction associated with marble, almost like what you get with Labradorecense. I need to look up how you spell that word.
These are either little points consecutively stacked up or are a square formation. I can't tell if the rock is in points or not.
This rough rock was found in the Southern hills of Scotland, down in the Dumfries and Galloway area. It has just been washed in soapy water, having been collected in a 2025 trip.
