This is another great example of how Scottish quartz comes in stunning drusy formations. This piece would make an excellent paperweight. As well as the gorgeous crystals of quartz here, this piece has those orange coloured dolomites in it that we love. It has some golden hued Chalcopyrite flecks in the offside too, making it beautiful from all directions. Dolomite is used in building more often than crystal healing but we think it's overrated.
What is quartz drusy?
Quartz drusy is when the crystals are tiny but sparkling. Drusy pieces form a blanket over rocks that sparkles in the light. The crystals are too small to be called clusters, which is why it gets this other name.
