It is likely no surprise at all to our regular readers that we adore National Geographic. The range of rock tumblers and refill kits they distribute in the UK makes polishing your own tumble stones accessible to everyone – and we love that.

Usually, we would only list our own top choices in advent calendar for Christmas. However, this coming December, Amazon’s top choice of crystal advent doesn’t match our own. That’s not to say it is not a great product, just that it is not one we would personally pick.
Pros of the YY-Junying gemstone calendar is that if comes with a magnifying glass, a velvet storage bag, polished tumble stones, a bracelet and a necklace. The necklace is a cage necklace on a black cord which you can change the crystals around in. It’s versatile.
The crystals and rocks look OK in the photos, and it is a cheap crystal advent calendar for what you get in it.
If Amazon says it’s great value for money then they are probably right. Plus this advent calendar is the same price as the big brand name chocolate advent calendars you get in supermarkets.
Best Gemstone Advent Calendar for Crystal Jewellery Lovers
We spotted the absolute best crystal jewellery advent calendar when we were searching for product recommendations. Aimed at teens, wives, mothers and girlfriends, which made us raise a slight eyebrow – but the set looks cool.
The Crystal Jewellery Advent Calendar contains crystal and rock necklaces – 18 of them – and two pairs of earrings. There are two bracelets, one in crystal chips and one rounded crystal beads. The set includes a ring and a brooch shaped like an owl.
In terms of crystals, this advent calendar has those sort of pendulum shaped crystals, a mushroom, tiger’s eye sphere, agate oval cabochon. There is a sodalite moon, an amethyst angel, a couple of chakra coloured bits like the tree of life and the moon. As much as I hate to say it… The teenage girl/wife/mother/girlfriend in me would be so happy to get this as a gift.
Best Advent Calendar for Kids: The Gemstone Dig Kit Advent Calendar
We love this because it contains crystals, but the kids need to dig them out of the plaster by themselves, using little hand tools included in the set. Each day, your little bundle of joy will spend at least a half hour chiselling out their own treasures from the rocks and subsequently giving you a half hour of calm.
We also love that this is for both, any, and all genders. Every kid loves hammering and chiselling. As with any toy, though, we would suggest supervision just in case they swallow it.
Best Advent Calendar for Crystal Healers: Healing Crystal Advent Calendar
Technically all of these advent calendars are all just called “crystal advent calendar” so we have to make up the names. This one mentions healing crystals in the title but that is not why we think it will be a good match for the crystal healers. This advent calendar comes with the professional looking velvet pouch, little jars with the small crystal chips in it, and a pendulum. It comes with a pendant card and both a rough rock specimen and a polished rock specimen, plus a little jar of crystal chips of each type of rock.
Another reason to love this crystal advent calendar for healing crystal users is the colours and rocks used.
You have Amethyst for the crown chakra and third eye, lapis for the throat, amazonite for the heart chakra, red jasper, tiger’s eye, citrine, and rose quartz. It’s almost perfect for chakra points. The rose quartz is in the wrong place and I would bet money that’s not real citrine (it’s so expensive) but otherwise this advent calendar for crystal healing is in good shape.
We wouldn’t be responsible crystal shop owners if we didn’t take this opportunity to tell you about the crystals, rocks, and minerals you can buy from the Stone Circle. Best Crystal Advent Calendar for Witches
We found two really good advent calendars with crystals in them for the witchcraft community. The first is this 225 Crystal advent calendar which contains the little mini bottles full of little mini crystal chips. If you do a lot of spellwork then you understand the importance of little glass vials and tiny crystals to put in them… This set also comes with a necklace and bracelet. The bracelet looks like elastic with different colours of chips in block colours. It all looks pretty cool.
The second of our “I have a witchy girlfriend” crystal advent calendars is actually a countdown to Halloween. As Samhain quickly approaches, it might be a bit late for All Hallows’ Eve. However, it could well work as a spooky Christmas advent calendar for the goths of this world.
