Our Crystal, Rock, and Mineral gift set contains self-collected, ethically sourced Scottish rocks. The ideal Christmas present for anyone in your life that loves crystals!

Do you need a good idea for a stocking filler? Want to buy a unique Christmas gift for someone you care about? Looking for a present that is a little different to the norm?
These crystal, rock and mineral gift sets feature a selection of Scotland’s finest mineral specimens, ready to be opened, rehomed, and enjoyed.
The Christmas Gift Box from TSC Contains Scottish Mineral Specimens
Our Christmas gift set includes 4 or more (it is always 5 really, we can’t help ourselves in the spirit of the season!) found Scottish rocks, crystals, or minerals.
We collect them from the muddy valleys, the damp hills, and the soggy mountains. We pick them out of the dirt, try not to dig if we can help it, and remove any rubbish we find while we are collecting.
Don’t worry. We wash the rocks before we put them into your Christmas gift boxes.
Our dedication to rock hunting all over the country is what makes the Stone Circle Christmas gift box so special.
What Crystals, Rocks, or Minerals Might Be in the Christmas Gift Box?
You will receive at least four different specimens, more depending upon size. We have a half ton of rocks to give away so we like to pad the orders with added extras.
Each box will contain a selection of 2-3 stickers. At the moment these are of mandalas, crystals, or Highland cows. This might change.
There are two cards, one saying merry Christmas, the other giving the origins of each mineral in the box.
Scottish rock specimens which you may get include:
A genuine Scottish hagstone
A piece of sparkling, milky, or Highland quartz crystal
Chalcedony or agate piece
Pink Calcite
A galaxy stone (amygdaloidal basalt)
Red or Blue flint
Red, green, or yellow, jasper
Hematite or ironstone samples
Rhyolite samples
Mica or schist
Other Scottish rocks like chalcopyrite, creamy calcite, and more!
Specimens may be polished but are more likely to be rough rocks.
What’s New in Store for the 2025 Festive Period?
During the coming months we will be gearing up for Christmas. We have been working around the clock during October trying to upload as many secondhand crystals as we can get our camera on.
Of course, you can expect the upcoming blog about where to buy your Crystal Advent Calendar for the year. If you need inspiration, you might check out last year’s article for now. The links might not all work, but the premise is the same. You can check it out here or just shop on Amazon for your crystal advent calendar 2025 yourself.
We also put together some hand-picked gift sets which feature a pine incense holder, a Scottish or international rock, and a stick of Paolo Santo wood. You can find these in the shop already. You might get a good deal if you act fast. They are very reasonably priced.

Speaking of Reasonably Priced Crystals…
Our newest venture has been to open our metaphorical shop floor to display pre-loved, secondhand crystals, rocks, and mineral specimens.
We are already listing some of the new crystal collections which we have been scooping up at auction. Each second-hand crystal will have a description of where we bought it, as usual.
Each listing of secondhand crystals will also contain the Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of each crystal versus what we are charging for it. That way, you can see how much you are saving by buying your crystals secondhand. Plus you get the wholesome feeling of doing your part to find excellent crystals which don't come from dodgy mining practices.
We wash the crystals in hot soapy water with an electric toothbrush, then we let them dry. We use an upturned rock classifier (which is like a colander but flat and with bigger holes) to support the rocks while we ‘steam’ them from below with an incense cone.
So, you can be sure that each secondhand crystal you buy online from The Stone Circle is not only clean but also cleansed. #IYKYK

Do People Even Like Getting Crystals for Christmas?
It depends on the person. Most people will be intrigued and, if it is pretty, will display it as part of their home décor. Those who are adamantly against metaphysical things (like yoga, spiritualism, acupuncture, etc.) are unlikely to enjoy the gift of a crystal for Christmas.
On the other hand, mineral collectors represent a big part of our clientele, For obvious reasons, too. There are those who chase crystals for prettiness, those who do it for crystal healing, and those who do it for the love of specimen collection.
Here at The Stone Circle, we aspire to be at least two out of those three.
